Stem/Bark: vertically fissured bark, armpits under branching (distinct feature), light red/brown color, single trunk, multiple branches, slender twigs 

Size: up to 200ft in height - smallest of the redwoods 

Habit: upright

Form: pyramidal

Culture: full sun - partial shade, tolerant of water 

Landscape Use: grown as an ornamental tree in the landscape of park etc., grows quickly and gets large
