Leaf/Bud: evergreen, opposite, 2-5cm broad and 1-2cm broad, entire margin, glossy dark green 

Flower/Inflorescence: solitary purple/blue flower, spring - summer bloom and produce into the fall

Fruit/Seed: pair of follicles with many seeds 

Stem/Bark: nothing noticeable 

Size: height .25-.5ft, .5-1.5ft

Habit: low and spreading 

Form: spreading/creeping 

Culture: drought tolerant, heavy shade ok, dry soil ok, prefers well-drained medium soil full sun - partial shade 

Landscape Use: trailing sub-shrub, creeping ground cover

Notes: invasive, good for smothering weeds as a ground cover, looks good all year round, tough plant!
